What is the Stuffed Orphanage?

Although we can’t find a home for every orphan, we can try to bring some happiness and comfort into their lives. We believe that no child should have to go to sleep without something of their very own to cuddle and hold. Currently we are working with Trumbull County Children’s Services and International Child Foundation to distribute stuffed animals and small blankets to children who are all alone.

How Can You Help??
Donate your gently used or new stuffed animals
Donate gently used or new crib sized blankets
Donate gently used or new backpacks for school age children
Donate new toothbrushes
Adopt a stuffed animal orphan from “The Stuffed Orphanage”

The Idea of the Stuffed Orphanage

Ameera’s House of Hope
"The Stuffed Orphanage"

Shining Stars students who were worried that orphans in Guatemala did not have a stuffed animal to cuddle founded the orphanage. So together they decided to raise money for some of those orphans.

Each adoption fee from the donated stuffed animals will help purchase new ones for Guatemala Orphans. Miss Stacey’s adoption agency is working to find an orphanage in need.

Each orphan comes with a story, adoption certificate and a picture of the new family posted on the blog. If you have a friend who needs to be placed for adoption, please bring them in to the studio along with their story.

How do you adopt?? All ophans are at the Niles studio, so you can visit with them and pick the right one for your family. There is an adoption fee of between $10-$15 depending on where your orphan is from.

The start of the new Orphanage

Somewhere out there is a loving family for every stuffed animal. The new House of Hope Orphanage will help find loving homes for every one of them. Pictures and stories about the orphans will be posted on the blog so you can be matched to that perfect one for your family. .
